The Insignia Control Suite brings the intuitive design and powerful automation of the award-winning ALmix Insignia Total Plant Control system to a portfolio of asphalt plant control systems. This array of Insignia automation products is designed for a broad range of modern asphalt producers, plant designs, and the latest plant operation requirements.

The Insignia Control System (ICS)
The ALmix Insignia Control System (ICS) is a state-of-the-art, total plant control system that provides complete control of the blending process and individual motor control. ICS allows the Operator to monitor, operate and report all plant functions. ICS provides real-time plant production data and the status of individual I/ O. This includes component data status and the ability to add fuel, power, and water consumption reporting and diagnostics.
The Insignia Cloud
The entire suite of Insignia Control Systems can be connected to the new Insignia Cloud. The Insignia Cloud is designed to give plant owners more insights into their plants' operation than ever before. Coupled with the ALmix Insignia Control System’s ethernet-connected PLC design and customized by our team of program engineers for each customer, Insignia Cloud is the most comprehensive plant overview tool on the market. Insignia Cloud is powered by Aveva Insight, bringing crucial plant operation data to the cloud, where it is organized for human or AI-powered analysis. This cloud system allows your plant data to be stored off-site and analyzed from any device, anywhere, at any time.
The Insignia Loadout System (ILS)
The ALmix Loadout System has been designed to exceed the requirements of today’s plant weighmasters. Like ICS, the loadout system is designed with an easy-to-use, point-and-click operating interface presented within an ergonomic screen layout. The system presents the operator with all the required information at all times for the timely loadout operation of multiple silos over multiple scales.
Other Insignia-Based Automation Products
InsigniaLT
The InsigniaLT Control System is the same Insignia total plant control system that provides complete control of the blending process and individual motor control without using Ethernet communications to individual devices. The loss of Ethernet communications lowers the sheer volume of data that can be gathered, analyzed, and reported, but the total plant control capabilities stay the same. For retrofit projects, drive and motor control is accomplished using wiring already in place instead of direct ethernet communications. Over time, drives and plant I/O can be replaced and added to an Ethernet network, allowing a periodic transition from the InsigniaLT System, to the full Insignia Control System. InsigniaLT can be connected to the Insignia Cloud.

InsigniaRF
The ALmix InsigniaRF Control System is the Insignia Burner control system separated out into an individual product meant to replace or add burner control, safety and data collection to control systems of the past. Baghouse and motor operation, as well as Insignia Cloud, are standard additions to InsigniaRF.
InsigniaMX
The InsigniaMX Control System is an ALmix ICS-based mix control system, separated into an individual entry-level product designed to replace blending systems of the past. Reporting of the calibrations, mix process, and totals are standard. InsigniaMX can have the burner control integrated as an add-on feature. Insignia Cloud can be added, as well, to bring cloud connectivity to InsigniaMX.

The ALmix InsigniaMT Control System is the motor control system separated into an individual product meant to replace/add motor control to non-networked systems. InsigniaMT Control, like all Insignia systems, utilizes a Rockwell Automation PLC. It can be paired with many types of I/O to get the complete system configured for any task. Like the other Insignia products, the InsigniaM can be connected to Insignia Cloud.
