ALmix WarmWare® Warm Mix System | Overview
The ALmix WarmWare® Warm Mix System has been specially designed to promote the foaming of liquid asphalt cement and the production of warm mix asphalt at lower temperatures than needed with traditional hot mix. Using Warm Mix at your plant affords the following benefits to your plant’s bottom line, the paving crew and our environment:

ALmix WarmWare® Warm Mix System | How it Works
The ALmix WarmWare® Warm Mix System is designed for simplicity. The system creates foamed liquid asphalt cement by injecting water directly into the liquid asphalt cement as it flows from your AC tanks to your mixing drum. The injection of this water creates microscopic steam bubbles in the asphalt cement, which reduces the viscosity of the liquid allowing the end mix to be workable at lower temperatures.
STATIC BLENDER: The heart of the ALmix Warm Mix System is a scientifically engineered, fully hot oil jacketed static blending device, where the injection of water takes place. The Static Blender installs directly into the existing asphalt cement injection pipe, making the switch between hot mixes and warm mixes, or adding warm mix capabilities to your plant as easy as changing out a section of AC pipe.
PUMP SKID: In addition to the static blender, a 2 HP variable frequency-driven water pump is provided on a skidded base with water tank, water filter and flow meter fitted with optical encoder and calibration port. Hosing complete with fittings and check valve is supplied for connection to the Static Blender.
