ALmix Lime and Filler Handling | Equipment
ALmix produces a line of lime and filler handling equipment designed to help producers store and incorporate lime and other different filler types into their mixes with both ease and precision.
Lime and Filler Storage Silos: Choose your storage silo from our line of stationary or fully-portable, self-erecting units. Silos are available in 300, 500 and 700-barrel sizes. Each unit comes equipped with the latest mass flow metering systems, including pneumatic blowers and aeration pads, NTEP-approved loadcell-powered weigh pods and VFD-controlled vane feeders for precision metering of fillers into your mixes.
Pugmill Systems: Our twin-shaft pugmill systems can be sized to match your production output and feature rugged AR 500 liners, replaceable and reversible shanks and tungsten carbide paddle tips. Both stationary and portable options are available with customizable weighing and conveyor layouts to comply with your local regulations.
ALmix Dust Handling | Equipment
The team at ALmix can customize a dust handling setup ideal for your production needs and local regulations. Dust capture begins with one of our reverse air baghouse fabric filter collectors. From there, a lot can be done with your dust, whether you need to waste it, meter it or utilize one of our dust silos and pneumatic metering systems for positive dust control. Don’t sweat the details—let our team help you design the dust system you need.
DUST RETURN SYSTEMS: ALmix dust return systems allow producers to leverage the dust released from the baghouse inertial collector and cleaning process. Dust is collected in the baghouse hopper section and is then conveyed to the dust and RAP entry collar on the drum mixer. The speed of each auger in this process in relation to the next in line may be controlled through a VFD which allows fine control to minimize wear. Dust return systems can include air locks and vane feeders for metering and can be designed to allow for the wasting of dust if required.
DUST SILOS & POSTITIVE DUST CONTROL: These systems are for producers who are required to incorporate maximum control over how dust is moved throughout the plant and returned to mixes. Simply put, these systems must accurately weigh the fine, secondary dust collected from the baghouse bags, transfer the material to a storage silo, accurately meter the required amount of fine dust returned from the storage silo, and finally, transfer the metered material back to the drum mixer. These systems are interlocked to the plant’s controls to constantly respond to production rate changes.
ALmix Lime, Filler and Dust Handling Equipment | Self-Erecting Silos
For producers who require maximum portability, ALmix offers a line of self-erecting lime, filler and dust silos.
These fully-portable silo systems self-erect in minutes through the use of a built-in hydraulic system. Each unit is designed with all of the features available in our stationary lime, filler and dust silos and is available in 300, 500 or 700-gallon capacities. With an ALmix self-erecting silo for your lime, filler or dust there is no need to sacrifice features or storage capacity for full portability.
ALmix Dust Handling Equipment | Reverse Air Rotary Baghouses
